Matt Stern began his law practice as a commercial real estate lawyer and holds a graduate law degree in real estate development that only a handful of other attorneys in Texas possess. Mr. Stern's practice comprises all aspects of commercial transactions, including negotiation and workouts of both commercial and personal loans.
At Vance & Whitley, Mr. Stern has expanded his practice to focus on the representation of clients in a wide range of family law matters as well as consultation and evaluation of real estate and other assets associated with individuals involved in family law and general disputes.
Mr. Stern's transactional experience provides him with an innate ability to analyze and break down complex legal issues for the benefit of both his litigation and business clients. He has worked for large lawfirms of national recognition as well as smaller boutique firms that focused on specialized, difficult and intricate aspects of legal representation.
As an attorney, Mr. Stern always concentrates of the needs and goals of his clients and he is a tireless and strong advocate for all of his clients.
Recently, Mr. Stern enjoyed teaching various legal and political science courses at UTSA . He plans to continue teaching at the university level.
