PRACTICE CONCENTRATION AND EXPERIENCE

Ann Megee started her professional career as a commercial underwriter for the Insurance Company of North America.  She then worked for St. Mary’s University as an admissions counselor, leaving St. Mary’s to teach English and literature at San Antonio College. Ms Megee gained her expertise as a trial lawyer at Thornton, Summers, Biechlin, Dunham & Brown, where she worked from 1984 to 2000.  She “retired” from Thornton Summers and returned to teaching, but so missed the courtroom that she quickly returned to trial work.

Ms. Megee is highly thought of by judges and lawyers alike.  There is no fact pattern that ruffles her and she is a tenacious adversary. Ms. Megee is a ferret after the truth – she will dig under rocks and stones to find the law to support her truth.  She is a highly respected trial lawyer and a role model to women eager to set foot inside a courtroom.
