
At Vance & Whitley, Agatha Rode's focus is family law, including divorce and child custody issues.
While studying to earn her law degree, Ms. Rode enrolled as a student attorney at the St. Mary's Center for Legal and Social Justice where she earned the Francis Leos Award for excellence in clinical studies. She then served as a Teaching Assistant to the Associate Dean for Clinical Programs and Public Interest with St. Mary's Center for Legal and Social Justice. Ms. Rode also served as a legal clerk to Former Magistrate Judge Dan A. Naranjo. While in law school, Ms. Rode was on the National Dean's List, and in 2009, Ms. Rode was recognized as a law student nominee for the Alma Lopez award for Women in Leadership.
Ms. Rode has always been interested and dedicated to helping families during one of the most tumultuous times in their lives. She is devoted to seeking the healthiest and most positive outcomes for children of divorce, while assisting clients to begin on a path to healing. .
Ms. Rode graduated from Texas A&M University with honors in 2005. She received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's School of Law in 2009, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from St. Mary's School of Business in 2010. Ms. Rode was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2010 and joined The Law Offices of Vance & Whitley, L.L.P. in 2010.
Agatha Rode is currently a member of the Family Law Section of the Texas State Bar, a member of the Bexar County Women's Bar Association, and a member of the Mexican American Bar Association.
